Advancing the Transfer of Know How

Being a true partner to our customers means more than just understanding the production processes and providing necessary services. Service technicians, maintenance engineers and supervisors need to be kept updated with the necessary skills to operate the installed equipment, handle general tasks and carry out emergency repairs.

At GEECOM we promote the transfer of know-how long before the job is completed at site through the involvement of relevant personnel during the commissioning stage of the project. Additionally, we have an in-house training centre where courses are held regularly. These are structured courses held in a lecture room environment and consisting of extensive hands-on approach which enable operating and maintenance personnel to better understand the exacting requirements of the equipment resulting in safer and highly efficient plant operation. More than 50 courses have been held in the last 9 years with over 500 certificates being issued to relevant attendants
